Early Years Advocacy now oversees the coordination and facilitation of a new Early Years network, currently provided for nursery and pre-school owners and managers operating within Hampshire and in Southampton.

New members may join existing networks if there are vacancies and where appropriate, or I can set up a new network in your local area.

The support is not prescriptive. Each network is driven by the needs of the membership (Early Years business owners, managers and committee officers) and reviewed as necessary. Here is an idea of what I can offer;

  • Focused meetings to ensure members interests met and to include ‘hot’ topics, short taster training sessions, invited service or resource providers, and if required a speaker.
  • Full coordination, facilitation and professional input at meetings provided by myself with dates planned a year in advance.
  • All papers and supporting documents prepared and distributed in advance of meeting for printing by members.
  • Opportunity for informal networking with like-minded and committed professionals operating in your local area.
  • Opportunity to buy in extra services or training at reduced rates if required.
  • Facilitation of any shared training if required by members (reducing cost to individuals) through external providers.
  • Access to other professionals and experts in associated fields if required.
  • Signposting to articles, alerts and news from other Early Years organisations.
  • Optional extras such as telephone support/advice or ‘critical friend’ or ‘sounding board’.
  • Personal Development Coaching.
  • Provision of refreshments for meetings.

If a venue for small groups (minimum 20 people) can be offered by an Early Years provider, the cost of membership can be considerably reduced.

Attendance at six meetings per year – two per term (2 ½ hours long) – focused to ensure members interests are met and to include ‘hot’ topics, short training tasters, invited service or resource providers and if required a speaker.

  • An opportunity for more informal networking too, with a small group of up to 25 like-minded and committed professionals operating in Hampshire and Southampton.
  • An opportunity to purchase a block of 6 Personal Performance Coaching sessions at an introductory rate.
  • News and alerts from various EY organisations and other sources.
  • Confidential telephone support or advice as a ‘critical friend or ‘confidential sounding board’.
  • An opportunity to buy in extra services or training at reduced rates and to share training if required.
  • Access to other professionals and experts in associated fields if required.

This network is limited to 25 members. It means that people get to know others better and build trust and rapport.
